Kayheartz spoke to My Hairdresser Search in a quick break between clients.
Why did you decide to pick hairdressing as career?
I’ve always loved hair and creating styles. I want to be a skilled professional in the art of hair styling.
Where do you get your inspiration from for your work?
Magazines. Fashion catwalks. Designer websites. The streets of Melbourne.
Which celebrity do you think has the best hair and why?
Miranda Kerr - for her natural sunkissed 'Aussie Girl' locks.
What have been your career highlights so far?
Becoming an important part of such a prestigious salon as Conrad Mace. I’m looking forward to many opportunities.
Do you have any mentors in the industry?
Greg Conrad is a huge inspiration for hairstyling, and Felicity Mace has strong business qualities.
Trends you think will be big for summer?
Sunkissed, cool colours . as always, big beautiful blow waves, also unstructured sexy up-dos for summer night parties.
