The best of the industry’s most talented young stylists impressed the crowds at this year’s Hair Expo.

Only 10 rising stars from Australia’s entire hairdressing industry were selected to be a part of the prestigious Fellowship Academy of Merit and Excellence (FAME) team.

Part of the talented troupe were Lisa Muscat and Leah White, both still in their apprenticeships at E Salon.

The FAME team allows those fortunate enough to be selected the opportunity to join a program committed to educating and developing the most gifted young Australian stylists to an international level.

It’s also a chance for the young hairdressers to fine-tune the work and rub shoulders with some of the leading names in the industry.

“Being selected as a member of the FAME team is such an honour,” Lisa told myhairdressersearch. “The FAME team will be an amazing experience!”

“To be included in the FAME team is ideal for me to explore, learn and have fun,” Leah says.

In addition to receiving product and onstage education, and creating a photographic collection under the guidance of renowned photographer Andrew O’Toole, Lisa and Leah will also present live on the Australian FAME Team tour, and at Salon International in London in October 2009.
