Wella Personalised Trends
By Rob Kotevski August 13 2009

Some of Australia’s best hairdressers and colourists have hit the road as ambassadors as part of a new initiative from Wella Professionals.

Kicking off with a Sydney roadshow, Maria Uva from Rokk Ebony, Jacen Ward from Toni and Guy and Christopher Hunter from Valonz will spread the word about Personalised Trends from Wella.

Personalised Trends are based on four key cutting edge hair designs fashion looks that are inspired by the latest global trends and developed by the international Wella stylist team, working in collaboration with trend forecasting agencies.

The Personalised Trends service will include a personalisation to ensure the style is right for each client, an in-salon colour and care treatment to accentuate the look, as well as giving assistance on care and style for the client’s new look after leaving the salon.

The client can choose one of four exciting new services:

Pastel Service: The new pure blonde is the cleanest of all blonde looks. With airy cuts and styles, it incorporates emotional design, sensitive architecture with the accent on weightless textures.

Sensuous Service: Controlled volume and strength of feminine waves and rich curves in complete anti-frizz control with warm, luscious colours full of depth and dimension.

Crystal Gloss Service: The crossing of masculine and feminine divides, celebrating how opposites attract. A play of round & square cuts and cool colours with a fast, long-lasting crystal shine finish.

Color Accents Service: The youngest of all trend looks with accentuating 3D colour effects that make a statement in flexible styles. This animated flexible style is cut to move.

“Every day we get clients coming in and asking for the latest trend – but sometimes it doesn’t always suit their face shape or colouring. Personalised Trends is a great initiative to help hairdressers give clients the style they want, while still ensuring it suits them,” Jacen Ward says.

Personalised Trends will hit Wella Professional salons in Australia from September 1 2009
