The Wella Trend Vision Awards never fail to highlight some of the finest hairdressing talent Australia has to offer.
Announced at the national final of the awards, Julie Dowding from Wisp Studio in North Perth will represent Australia in Berlin, winning gold in the Colour category with her genderless inspired interpretation of the Intersexion trend.
Joseph Semaan from South Yarra’s Rokk Ebony stood out from his competitors and took the gold award in the Young Talent category with his timeless Vidal Sassoon inspired work.
Julie Dowding's look earned her the gold award.
Joseph Semaan won gold in the Young Talent category.
Following closely behind, Kerry Langsford from Toni&Guy North Adelaide brought home the silver award in the Colour category with her Intersexion style that featured a strong tailored shape, blending glamorous femininity with a hint of masculinity. Carlie Christie from Skatt, Northbridge won silver in the Young Talent category with her Chanel inspired Intersexion look that battled between masculine and feminine.
Rounding out the top three places, Shannyn Coonan from Toni&Guy Brisbane took home bronze for Colour, with Ashleigh Ryan winning third place in the Young Talent Section.
