January 6 2009
As many Australians head back to work or study at this time of year, the scent of the sea and the memory of sand underneath toes lingers. Fun times with good friends at Christmas parties, long days at the beach and countless music festivals remind us how lucky we are to live in a country where our hot summer seems to stretch out forever.
New Years Eve came upon as and we counted down the seconds to 2009. New year’s resolutions we vowed to stand by were made in the middle of celebrations and we tried to ensure that we would stick by them into the new year.
All resolutions are made with the best intentions. Some stick by them, and others aren’t so lucky. We promised to exercise more, eat healthy food, quit smoking, or perhaps just learn to relax and stress less. Many detox programs kicked off, ridding bodies of the bad food and alcohol that naturally comes by spreading festive season cheer. We’ve all heard of detox for the body, but do we ever provide enough TLC for our hair?
There should always be time set aside for a little luxury in our fast-paced and time-poor lives. Put your hair in the hands of the experts and be pampered as new life is breathed into locks that may be frizzy, dry, plagued by split ends or just overall damage and general wear and tear from the sun, surf and sand.
Stuck for ideas but decided it’s time to spoil yourself by giving your hair a well-deserved treatment? myhairdressersearch has done the hard work for you and tracked down some of the best hair treatments on the block. Just say it’s damage control and give your hair the TLC it deserves.
1. Hair facial at Renya Xydis City

Sit back and relax as your hair is gently conditioned from root to tip and the wear and tear from the summer is undone, leaving a feeling like you’ve just received new, healthy-looking and feeling hair. A complimentary towel dry is provided, but you can decide to go for an optional blow dry at the completion of your treatment.
