Peep Toe Shoes launched their Spring Carnival Collection 2008 at one of Sydney’s coolest bars, De Nom.
Goldwell was the official hair partner at the launch.
Heading the Goldwell hair team was Ali Holmes, from Wildlife Hair who created the sultry looks to fit in with the launch’s burlesque theme. The hair direction for the event was a hark back to 40s glamour with set curls and roll up fringes. Dita Von Teese would have approved wholeheartedly.
Get the look
To create the look Ali firstly applied the Goldwell Power Whip Volume Mousse to give the hair hold. One side of the hair was then curled using hair curlers, which were set by creating 1cm squared sections in the hair. The curls where then each pinned up separately to cool.
To give the hair hold and to set the hair Ali sprayed the Goldwell Brilliance Magic Finish hairspray.
To complete the look before the show the curls were then brushed out softly pushing the curls closer together creating a wavy movement.
The hair was then finished with the Goldwell Hair Lacquer and then sprayed with the Goldwell dualsenses Leave-In Gloss Spray to create shine and complete the look.
