The darling of Sydney’s social pages, TV personality Ruby Rose, has crossed over to the lighter side and discovered that blondes indeed have more fun.
Ruby Rose’s locks have been the talk of the town for the past twelve months when she chopped her longer, Bettie Page locks for a shorter, rockier Rihanna look.
Now the MTV host has done it again just before her new TV project, titled
Ultimate Music School: Fame
, kicks off.
She broke the news to the world via Twitter: “Oops … I just woke up as a blonde!”
The new look comes thanks to Potts Point hairdressing salon,
People
. Creative Director, Hamish Glianos and Ruby’s Colour Technician,
Jessie Burkitt
, had the pleasure of making her over once again and just in time for the launch of her new TV show.
“Ruby came in on Monday and was ready for a new look. We’d been talking about something radical for months but her media commitments haven’t allowed it. Ruby wanted something completely new and so we decided blonde it was and she looks incredible!” says Hamish.
“The process of going 'bleach' blonde is a long one to do correctly so she was in the seat a while but once done, the contrast to her usual dark tone looked awesome.” says Jessie. “We love having clients like her; she pushes the boundaries with her look, allowing us the freedom to be creative. She’s become quite the style icon and if this makeover convinces more people to do the Agyness, then we’re all for it!” says colourist, Jessie.
